We have just completed our first classroom building!

Our first Montessori classroom, known as a children’s house in Montessori, is a two level building comprising a lower level learning area, kitchen, child sized bathroom, masonry stove and stairway up to the next level. The whole building has been designed with Montessori in mind and the upper level is an open plan design lined with child sized shelving holding the materials and equipment currently in use by the class and teacher.

Primary classroom

 Overlooking the lake we have our quiet corner for reading and drawing. (Known as the Peace Corner in Montessori.)
