Visit Us

The school operates on a private, self-contained estate in the Troutbeck area of the Eastern Highlands. It is a calm rural setting suited to boarding life: predictable routines, space to walk, and a clear boundary between school and town.

Arrange a visit
A visit is the clearest way to understand daily life at Troutbeck. Families are welcome to arrange a suitable time to see lessons in progress, meet staff, and discuss whether the school is likely to be a good fit.

Directions
From Troutbeck Hotel, continue east for approximately 1 km and take the “SWIFT” turn to the right (south). Follow the round, white signposts to the school.

Vehicle advice
The final approach is a dust road. We strongly recommend a 4×4 for the climb to the school. In the rainy season, the clay surface can become slippery—please ensure you know how to engage four-wheel drive.

What you will see

  • Lessons in progress (Montessori and/or Cambridge IGCSE)
  • Boarding facilities and daily routines
  • Time to ask questions about fit, expectations, and next steps
